The fifth annual YPP is evaluating the first 10 years of the Earth Charter, What's it done and where is it going?
If you're in grades 9 to 12, help evaluate the four pillars of the Earth Charter. Mirroring Parliamentary Upper House processes, we're looking to reach consensus in groups and identify ways that can be adopted by YOU and SOCIETY to further the pillars:
1) Respect and Care for the Community of Life
2) Ecological Sustainability
3) Social and Economic Justice
4) Democracy, Non-violence and Peace

Here's what happens:
If you're interested in being part of the 2010 YPP, please complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) by July 20.
Once we've seen how many students want to participate, we'll either have to select some on the basis of what's written in the EOI - or if we have about 100, there'll be enough room for everyone.
EOI applications close on July 20; By July 25 you'll have been advised if you've been accepted to the YPP and will have to pay a $20 registration fee on or before August 14. ( $$ is to help cover catering)
At the workshop on August 14, you'll meet your group colleagues and we'll run through what's going to happen at the Parliament.
