Origami Peace Cranes and Doves to 'Children at Risk'

Worldwide, the dove is a symbol of peace.

~ Places where kids can't always be kids ~

(Orphans, Child Soldiers, Stateless, Slaves, Indentured Workers, Refugees)

This year we are building on a project started last year, we are asking school students to make origami cranes or doves and we will collect them and send them to children in conflict, violence or trauma zones around the world. A gesture of Peace and Goodwill from children in our 'safe' communities to their counterparts who stuggle daily.

Can you help please?

1) By making the doves (please click for instructions below) and if possible, helping raise some funds to cover postage please? (it's very expensive to send them)

2) We need to identify schools, orphanages and villages in conflict zones where these doves can be delivered to. If you can help in this respect, please see the information in the files below. Here are some of the places the Doves are going to!
