Please join us in with communities of people of diverse cultural, ethnic and faith backgrounds, sharing commitments to spiritual understanding and healing. Sharing Our Space is a free event celebrating International Peace Day and the opening of Multi Faith Week. Australian Indigenous Elders will welcome all who attend, joining in prayerful reflections, healing ceremonies and two panel discussions with representatives from Australian Indigenous and Multi Faith communities talking about ways in which we can reconcile and heal with one another. |

A new online project "Give Peace a Chance" is now available to encourage
peace building in celebration of this year's Peace Day and beyond. The
project includes activities and resources for students from middle primary
to lower secondary but could be adapted to suit the needs of younger or
older students. Activities include a forum to discuss peace celebrations
and a wiki to share knowledge about some famous peace makers. Read more...

| Gandhi Awareness Peace Walk |
Organised and led by an 80 year old Gandhian of New Zealand origin, with three people flying from India in
support, a 5-day, 73 kilometre walk from Caboolture to Brisbane City Centre will take place from September
